Entitled "what shall be done for them?" Brown sends his first repost as a missionary in the "far west." At his present location, there is no religious influence -- all denominations dread this difficult area, so A.H. Missionary society would find its money well spent in this location. Batavia is advanced in having mills and water power and Brown has preached there. Requests advice on whether to remain or go elsewhere.
